Daði Freyr is looking for fans to join a choir for his Eurovision 2021 song
Icelandic multi-instrumentalist Daði Freyr is calling on fans to join a choir he's putting together to feature on his Eurovision 2021 song.
In October 2020 Daði Freyr was confirmed to be representing Iceland at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest, after last year's event was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Following his recent ÁSDÍS collaboration "Feel The Love", Daði Freyr has taken to Twitter to search for people willing to join a choir that will feature on his Eurovision song this year.
In a video posted on Twitter, Daði Freyr says he's "almost finished with the song", but is searching for people to help with a "huge a cappella choir part in the song", as he doesn't have access to a choir due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He's made a Google Drive folder with seven individual vocal parts that he needs to record with help from his fans/choir, and is asking fans to record themselves singing one or more of the vocal parts for the chance to feature on the final song.
Overwhelmed by the number of people who have already sent! Thank you so much, this is going to be epic!
