French electronic heroes, Daft Punk have signed a new deal with Columbia Records and are expected to release an album this coming spring.
The duo, consisting of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, last released a record in 2005 in the form of Human After All.
And now, according to Hollywood Reporter, they are due to follow the LP with a yet untitled effort – what will be their fourth full-length to date.
Daft Punk had previously been signed to EMI, before jumping to Columbia.
The band had been widely suspected to tour during 2013, but Bestival organiser Rob Da Bank has recently denied this.
