DaBaby's name removed from Parklife 2021 line-up
Following DaBaby's recent homophobic comments made at Rolling Loud Miami, the rapper's name has disappeared from the Parklife 2021 line-up.
On Sunday (25 July) DaBaby said some homophobic comments while addressing the crowd during his Rolling Loud Miami performance, telling attendees without HIV or AIDS to "put your cellphone light up."
After attempting to apologise for the comments on socials earlier this week, the rapper's name has since been removed from the Parklife 2021 line-up, which is available to view at parklife.uk.com.
Parklife organisers haven't announced DaBaby's removal from the line-up, and according to TMZ, a rep said he wasn't dropped from the line-up because of his comments, and actually pulled out of the festival months ago due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.
The Manchester festival were still promoting DaBaby as part of the 2021 line-up up until two weeks ago.
Throughout the week DaBaby's has received responses to his homophobic comments from the likes of Dua Lipa and Elton John, and last night (29 July) Madonna responded via Instagram, writing, "I want to put my cellphone lighter up and pray for your ignorance."
