DaBaby says he asked JoJo Siwa to perform at the Grammys with him
DaBaby has confirmed he really doesn't have any beef with JoJo Siwa, and did actually ask her to perform at last night's (14 March) Grammy Awards with him.
DaBaby, who was nominated for six Grammys at yesterday's ceremony, has further clarified that he has no issue with JoJo Siwa, after fans assumed he had a dig at her in his "Beatbox" freestyle last month.
When arriving at the Grammys yesterday (14 March), DaBaby was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight, who mentioned JoJo Siwa, leading DaBaby to respond, "That's how I know who JoJo Siwa is, from buying all her stuff for my baby, so you know, we 100% JoJo Siwa fans, we love her."
He went on to reveal he did reach out to JoJo Siwa before the Grammys, "I actually reached out to see if she wanted to perform with me at the Grammys, but I heard she’s somewhere working on a project of her own. I won’t say too much. I don’t want to put her business out there. She’s somewhere filming something, though, but I definitely reached out."

Fans assumed DaBaby was negatively rapping about JoJo Siwa on "Beatbox" when he rapped, "Turn me up, n***** gon' see why / N****, you a bitch, JoJo Siwa (Bitch)". DaBaby shut down beef rumours shortly after, writing to JoJo Siwa on Twitter, "my 3 year old princess is your number 1 fan. I bought her every product you have out. She think she you. Don’t let em trick you into thinking id ever have a problem with you. My word play just went over their heads. All love on my end shawty, Keep shinning!"
