The idea for Cuz and Tamatebako was conceived quite some time ago, when Mike Watt (Minutemen, fIREHOSE, The Stooges and much more) and Sam Dook (The Go! Team) met up at 2006 Big Day Out Festival. The pair began sending demos back and forth shortly thereafter and have finally solidified them as Tamatebako, which is now available for streaming.
The album was initially intended as a limited Record Store Day release, but pressing issues waylaid that. It will now see a digital release on 11 May and a CD release on 19 May via Bleeding Heart Recordings.
