Cut Ribbons reveal the digi-blip riddled "We Want To Watch Something We Loved Burn"
Cut Ribbons have shared the title track from upcoming record We Want To Watch Something We Loved Burn.
Speaking about the track, singer Aled Rees says: "We wrote this during a really sunny spell of weather and I think that's what shaped the feel of the track. We come from a coastal town but the lyrics were written whilst I was in Tenby. In the van coming home from shows, seeing Mumbles lighthouse and the pier, only then it feels like we are almost home. It was something that factored into the imagery but not so much the narrative. We want to watch something we loved burn is just the personification of reckless abandoned, a pretty romantic notion to write about I think."
We Want To Watch Something We Loved Burn is out 21 August on Kissability.
