CupcakKe releases new song "Lemon Pepper" to benefit Minnesota Freedom Fund
CupcakKe is back with new song "Lemon Pepper", and has revealed she'll donate half the proceeds to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.
"Lemon Pepper" follows on from CupcakKe's first single of 2020, "Lawd Jesus", that landed in March, and marked her first new song since announcing her retirement from music in September 2019.
Half of the funds made from "Lemon Pepper" will be donated to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a nonprofit organisation helping those arrested during the #BlackLivesMatter protests.
The proceeds will be donated from sales made from the song being purchased on iTunes.
Last month, CupcakKe matched Noname's $1000 donation to the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

Despite announcing her retirement from music last year, in May CupcakKe wrote on Twitter, "what I'm saying is some of the things I did coming up was degrading myself - I'm still going to put out sexual music because that's apart of me & always will be but basically it's not what you do it's how you do it type of deal ... so yeah."
Just to clarify this video - what I'm saying is some of the things I did coming up was degrading myself - I'm still going to put out sexual music because that's apart of me & always will be but basically it's not what you do it's how you do it type of deal ... so yeah . https://t.co/uki4bgziaV
