Already out in the US via Forest Family Records, New York duo Cults debut single ‘Go Outside’ is now set for its UK release via In The Name Of/Columbia. Due out digitally on February 20 and on a limited edition white 7” vinyl the next day, the pair’s own brand of sixties revivalist pop is not dissimilar to contemporaries Summer Camp or Twin Sister.
And with a similar buzz gently building around them, 2011 should be pretty exciting for Brian Oblivion and Madeline Follin as they head out on tour and ready their debut album, with Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, M.I.A) on board as engineer, for release in May.
