The new single from Cults is inspired by "'80s power pop bands like The Motels and The Cars"
Cults have unchained "I Took Your Picture", another glorious taster of Offering - the duo's first long-player since 2013.
"'I Took Your Picture' was inspired by falling into a deeper love with '80s power pop bands like The Motels and The Cars," Cults explain. "It's a song about fleeting moments and how we let past feelings interrupt the possibility for good things to happen. 'Tinge of blue, to the end, left our hearts, with regrets, I'm learning.' It's a daily struggle to try and stay open and available but it's probs worth it. And you can dance to it!"
The groove-laden jam is dusted with fizzy synths and spiralling vocals - it's light at the top but booming at the base thanks to rhythmic hits and a dramatic bassline.
Cults have also announced a new North American tour that begins in October - find out more.
