Crosby, Stills and Nash's music is back on Spotify
Crosby, Stills and Nash's music catalogue has returned to Spotify after they removed it from the platform to show support to former bandmate Neil Young in response to the COVID controversy with Joe Rogan.
Back in February Crosby, Stills and Nash joined musicians including Joni Mitchell, Crazy Horse's Nils Lofgren and more in removing their music from Spotify to show support to former bandmate Neil Young, who requested that his music should be removed from Spotify "immediately" due to COVID misinformation being spread via The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
At the time, they shared a statement saying they "support Neil and we agree with him that there is dangerous disinformation being aired on Spotify's Joe Rogan podcast," and wrote that they "don't want our music - or the music we made together - to be on the same platform."
On Saturday (2 July), Crosby responded to someone on Twitter asking why their music was back on Spotify, writing, "I don’t own it now and the people who do are in business to make money."
