Courtney Love says own solo album is one of "my life’s great shames"
Courtney Love has revealed that she hates her 2004 debut solo album, adding that it's "one of my life’s great shames".
The Hole singer has called her 2004 debut solo album America's Sweetheart "one of my life's great shames", comparing that shame to her fling with Steve Coogan and crack cocaine use.
Love shared her thoughts about her album via Instagram yesterday (4 January) on a post showing an Australian driving a car with her album cover printed on the exterior.
She wrote, "A happy Australian cruising around, Australia... America’s Sweetheart having her revenge, on, Melbourne ? AMAZING. ! Maybe one day I won’t hate that record. It has some good songs."
Love also hilariously compared her dislike for her debut solo album to a fling she had with Steve Coogan, "But like Steve Coogan, or crack, it’s one of my life’s great shames. Just the period, sloppiness, men, money, drugs, nightmare....although Chateau Miraval (where we made it) doesn’t suck."
