Courtney Love is a fan of Ivorian Doll
Courtney Love has praised multiple UK-based female drill artists, one of which is Ivorian Doll.
Love, known for her work in rock group Hole, has revealed she's "starting to really enjoy" drill music because of women, and has shared a post praising female drill rappers including Ivorian Doll, Juice Menace, TeeZandos, Cristale and more.
She revealed in her Instagram post that FKA twigs put her on to drill while talking about "the state of the world".
"I’d never heard of it, so went down the hole & love these amazing drill artists in the UK (& in Chicago)," Love wrote.
She added, "I’m not the best on the arc of Hip Hop, IN FACT I SUCK, because the protagonists of Hip Hop were so male for so long I lost focus & interest, but this is getting exciting now. So many women and girls having their fucking say on their fucking terms that I’m starting to really enjoy it."
