Courtney Love calls out Olivia Rodrigo for copying Hole's Live Through This album artwork
Courtney Love isn't pleased with Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR prom concert photo on Instagram, and has accused her of copying Hole's Live Through This album artwork.
Last week Rodrigo announced her SOUR prom concert film, which comes out tomorrow (29 June), and a day later, Courtney Love reposted the image to her own Instagram (with Rodrigo tagged), and wrote, "Spot the difference! #twinning! Olivia Rodrigo."
Rodrigo responded to Love's post, writing, "love u and live through this sooooo much", but it appears the situation has left Love with a SOUR taste in her mouth, as according to Billboard, Love wrote back, "Olivia - you're welcome. My favorite florist is in Notting Hill, London! Dm me for deets! I look forward to reading your note!"

Over the weekend Love continued speaking about the similarity between Rodrigo's image and Hole's Live Through This album cover on her official Facebook page. Love replied to one user, "it was rude of her , and geffen [Rodrigo photographer] not to ask myself or Ellen von unwerth [Live Through This cover photographer] . It’s happened my whole career so I d c . But manners is manners !"
In another comment, Love wrote, "It’s on GEFFEN. I’ve informed her I await her flowers snd note . I sure hope it’s long . Does Disney teach kids reading and writing ? God knows. Let’s see . Yes this is rude. Rage inducing ? Honey if I had a dollar for everyone this happens ? I’d be real rich !"
