Courtney Barnett teases new songs in Tell Me How You Really Feel... trailer
Courtney Barnett has teased a handful of new tracks during a trailer which strongly suggests her long-awaited new record is complete at last.
As well as playing a few solo/pared-back snippets, the trailer previews a release-ready edition of "I'm Not Your Mother, I’m Not Your Bitch" at the end (thanks for the tip Shazam). There's no official album title yet, but the trailer is called Tell Me How You Really Feel..., which sure sounds album title-y.
Late last year Barnett revealed in an interview that the album was "getting close" to being finished.
The new album will follow Barnett's recent collaborative LP with Kurt Vile, Lotta Sea Lice, as well as 2015 opus Sometimes I Sit And Think And Sometimes I Just Sit. She's been sharing the odd tune in recent months for various clubs and compilations, including "How To Boil An Egg", "Pickles From The Jar", and "Three Packs A Day", but it's unknown whether any of these are destined for her next proper record.
