Constantines release first new song in over a decade "Call Me Out"
Canada's beloved Constantines have released their new track "Call Me Out" in aid of Toronto Black Lives Matter and Unist'ot'en Camp Legal Fund for Land Defenders.
"Call Me Out" was written back in 2017 and recorded at Palace Sound by Alex Gamble on 8 January 2018, and is the band's first release since the 2014 reissue of Shine a Light.
The track won't be made available on streaming platforms, and is intended solely as a way of using their voice to fund the two charities involved.
The band describe "Call Me Out" as "an acknowledgement of the need for open listening, active learning, inward study and accountability towards personal and social change. It's an owning of our privilege and responsibilities."
