Connor Schofield of JAWS returns with second MORE*FIRE single "BONES"
JAWS' Connor Schofield is back with "BONES", the second single to be shared from his new solo project MORE*FIRE.
"BONES" follows on from March's debut "MORE FIRE", and arrives with another trippy visual directed by Haunted Mattress.
The new MORE*FIRE single was recorded during the same session as the debut release, and is again produced by Gethin Pearson, who also produed JAWS' 2019 LP The Ceiling.
Schofield says of the new track, "I made a lot of these songs around the same time in the same cluster of creativity, I’d never really written a song with this feel or groove before and it really took me out of my comfort zone in a good way, it was great to experiment with he vocals and layering of samples with this one. Lyrically, the song has themes of learning to not to rely so much on other people and working out how to be happy in your own skin."
MORE*FIRE has been in progress over the past 18 months in-between life and JAWS commitments.
