COLORS launch 24/7 London livestream following coronavirus pandemic
The iconic COLORS crew are launching a 24/7 livestream today (23 March) following the coronavirus pandemic.
Following the outbreak of coronavirus and advice to isolate and practice social distancing, COLORS - the Berlin-based music session platform - has relocated to a temporary studio in London where they'll be hosting a 24/7 stream.
The stream will see unannounced London-based artists perform with no rehearsal, keeping it completely organic while working under "strict safety precautions due to the COVID-19 crisis". Fans will be also be able to witness artists doing soundchecks and setting up for their performances.
COLORS are expected to run the stream for 30 days, and will allow fans to donate money which will be "split equally amongst all artists that contributed to the project". The description adds, "We hope that way we can help to offset some of the losses faced due to concert postponements and other cancellations."
The music platform says, "The current situation forces everyone of us to re-think, adapt and #stayhome. The world has come to a standstill, forcing us to live at a slower pace and appreciate real time. The stream is running 24-hours a day to reflect this historically unique situation."
