Coldplay are the new bookies' favourite to headline Glastonbury's Sunday night
Glastonbury 2015's headliner still remains a mystery - but betting corporations nationwide have slashed the odds on Coldplay.
While normally the likes of William Hill and Paddy Power surely aren't the most reliable barometers, they were very right about Kanye West taking the Saturday slot.
Ladbrokes are currently offering odds of 3/1 on Coldplay. The Stone Roses are just after at 4/1, and then Madonna and Blur, both at 5/1.
Other names in the hat include Taylor Swift (6/1), Elton John (7/1), Oasis (8/1), Ed Sheeran (10/1), Paul McCartney (12/1), Sam Smith (14/1), Radiohead (16/1), Muse (16/1), Rod Stewart (20/1) and One Direction, sans Zayn, at 25/1.
Jessica Bridge, a spokeswoman for Ladbrokes said: "The betting's wide open, but it's Oasis that punters are desperate to see reform at Glastonbury. Stranger things have happened, but sadly for fans of the Gallagher brothers it looks like it will be a special Sunday for Coldplay."
Glastonbury unveiled the first wave of names earlier this week, and the lineup is shaping up to be something quite special.
