Coldplay announce new single "Higher Power" after mysterious Alien Radio transmissions
After a series of mysterious transmissions via a Twitter account called Alien Radio FM, Coldplay have announced their new single "Higher Power".
Over the past couple of weeks, a Twitter account called Alien Radio FM has been sharing images and videos captioned with coordinates relating to different places around the world, with Coldplay reposting the content.
Various symbols have also been posted along with posters appearing in NYC and London, and earlier this week fans reportedly cracked the code. They worked out that a new song called "Higher Power" would be arriving next month, and Coldplay have now confirmed the news on socials, revealing that it's produced by Max Martin.
Coldplay wrote on Twitter, ""Higher Power" is a song that arrived on a little keyboard and a bathroom sink at the start of 2020. It was produced by Max Martin who is a true wonder of the universe. It’s out on Friday 7 May. Love c, g, w & j."
