Clock Opera share new single "In Memory" exploring human brain functions
Clock Opera have shared "In Memory", a new song from their upcoming second record due this summer.
The band are at long last plotting the follow up to 2013 debut Ways To Forget, which advances their emotive electro-pop into the world of neuroscience.
Speaking about the song, lyricist Guy Connelly says: “I was thinking a lot about the huge transition we are collectively undergoing from memory held in individual and society’s brains. Obviously we're not all robot husks just yet, but a lot more of what we 'know' doesn't live in our brains anymore and it's a trajectory that I expect to continue. Most people go a long way in order to forget things, me included and I think we're beginning to get what we asked for.”
You can download the track for free on the band's website.
Clock Opera play London's Moth Club on 14 March. Grab your tickets now.
