Clare Maguire announces Birmingham residency, streams new track "Dream Big" exclusively on Best Fit
Clare Maguire has announced a hometown residency for later this season, and is streaming new track "Dream Big" exclusively on Best Fit.
"Dream Big" is a twinkling paean to ambition, with fragile acoustic fingerwork, shuddering keys and mesmerising hooks from her mighty lungs. She flits between intimately tender verses and grand, anthemic choruses with elegance.
Maguire has also detailed her upcoming Birmingham residency. These will be her first headline shows in the city since 2011. She'll play the city's Glee Club on three Fridays in May:
May
1 - Glee Club Birmingham
8 - Glee Club Birmingham
15 - Glee Club Birmingham
Don't Mess Me Around is out 13 April on Virgin/EMI. It will be followed by a second EP later this year, and a debut long-player after that.
