Clairo, Arca, 100 gecs and more contribute loops to Locked Grooves charity compilation

Locked Grooves refers to the final closed groove on a vinyl record where the stylus stays unless it's lifted out of it.

The compilation is made by Vegyn's London-based label PLZ Make It Ruins in partnership with Arts Council England, and featured 40 loops each lasting 1.8 seconds with the intention of being played on loop to create a continuous, hypnotic rhythm.

Vegyn, Clairo, Arca, 100 gecs, Blood Orange, Kenny Beats, Dominic Fike, Four Tet, Floating Points, Haim, King Krule, Lauren Auder, Mura Masa, Shygirl, Raveena, Mica Levi, and many more have contributed loops to the compilation.

Net proceeds from the vinyl-only release and merch package will be split between ACLU and Liberty UK.
