Claire have their equipment stolen in London
German 'neon-pop' band Claire have been forced to cancel tonight's (24 September) show at Oslo due to their equipment being stolen.
The band's Facebook statement reads:
"This might be the worst day in our history as a band. After a 16 hour drive we arrived in London yesterday night and as we wanted to pick up our van this morning it was not there anymore. Police says that is has not been towed away so we have to assume that our van including every single piece of equipment we own has been stolen.
We're very sorry to say that for now tonights show at Oslo is cancelled as far as we're hoping that our van comes back to us in any way and we're able to play at Koko on Friday.
If anyone in London comes across a silver Mercedes Sprinter, with a massive scratch on its right side with license plate "M-AS 3364" and a little round red Sticker saying "Atomkraft, Nein Danke" on the back door please let us know immediately!
We really don't know what to say or to do, so please keep your fingers crossed everyone that our van and all our instruments find their ways back to us!
xxxxx"
Keep your eyes peeled, Londoners.
