City and Colour announces new album with opening track "Living in Lightning"
Dallas Green, aka City and Colour, has confirmed details of his sixth album, A Pill for Loneliness, as well as sharing the album opener "Living in Lightning".
"Living in Lightning" is the third single to be shared from Green's forthcoming album A Pill for Loneliness, after June's "Strangers" and "Astronaut".
City and Colour's new album will arrive four years after his last, If I Should Go Before You.
Speaking about the record, Green says, "I wrote a lot of dark songs and wrapped them in the most beautiful sounds we could find. There are personal connotations, but they’re also relatable. I’m thankful for the opportunity to create."
A Pill for Loneliness is produced by Jacquire King (Kings Of Leon, Tom Waits, Modest Mouse) and mastered by Emily Lazar (Beck, Coldplay, Dolly Parton).
