Citizens sign to Kitsuné, release 'True Romance', announce free entry show
Remember the name Citizens as, come this time next year, they’ll more than likely have released one of the finest debut albums of 2012. However bold a statement that might seem, based on a recent set at Hoxton Bar & Kitchen that was filled with equal measures of on stage nonchalance and effortless cool – coupled with the bedsit pop genius of debut single ‘True Romance’, we’re willing to take a big punt on these guys.
Kitsuné will release ‘True Romance’ on 19 December. In anticipation of this, the band have announced that they will play a free entry show at London’s Electricity Showrooms on Thursday 8 December. Due to the tiny capacity of the venue, entry will be on a first come first served basis – so get there nice and early to avoid disappointment!
