Haley Fohr has signed to Drag City (Joanna Newsom, Smog) for fifth album Reaching For Indigo - to mark the occasion she's shared new single "Paper Bag".
"Paper Bag"'s visuals are "curated and edited" by Meg Remy. The track (and the rest of Reaching For Indigo) is produced by Fohr and Cooper Crain.
The Drag City listing notes that the upcoming record "references a moment that fell down in the life of Haley Fohr on January 22, 2016."
The Indiana-born artist has put out a lot of material over the years - Reaching For Indigo is Fohr's first CDY record since 2015's In Plain Speech, but last year she released an album under her Jackie Lynn moniker.
Tracklist:
- Brainshift
- Black Fly
- Philo
- Paper Bag
- A Story of This World Part II
- Call Sign E8
- Geyser
- Falling Blonde
Reaching For Indigo is out 20 October via Drag City.
