Circa Waves headline The Lexington in London
Last night Circa Waves brought their brash brand of indie-rock to a typically packed-out Lexington.
The Liverpool four-piece ran through the short set showcasing tracks from their forthcoming Virgin/EMI-released debut, currently being recorded in the capital.
As well as attention-grabbing early releases “Good To Me” and “Get Away” - which closes the evening - the young quartet offer-up a raucous “love song” simply called “My Love” and current single “Stuck In My Teeth”; the latter highlighting their position somewhere between The Strokes and early Arctic Monkeys.
The band now move on to a busy festival season including a Glastonbury slot on the Other Stage at the end of June.
“Stuck In My Teeth” is out now via Virgin EMI.
