Chubby and the Gang share new single "I Hate the Radio"
Chubby and the Gang have delivered new single "I Hate the Radio" as the latest preview of their second album The Mutt’s Nuts.
"I Hate the Radio", which follows the band's June lead single "Coming Up Tough", is teamed with a Molly Manning Walker-directed video, and is described by lead singer Charlie Manning Walker as being about "when you finish a relationship with someone but you have a certain association between them and a song, and then that song comes on the radio. It’s like, ‘man, I never want to hear this song again!’ and then of course you get in the car and it comes on."
The Mutt's Nuts will follow Chubby and the Gang's 2020 debut album Speed Kills, and is produced by Jonah Falco of Fucked Up.
Previous singles "Life's Lemons" and "Lightning Don't Strike Twice" will also appear on the album.
