Chromatics announce new release date for Dear Tommy, and share dark disco pop number "Black Walls"
Portland's synth pop outfit Chromatics have returned with the dark sparkles of "Black Walls", and news of long-awaited album, Dear Tommy.
Eerie and atmospheric, Chromatics propel into an 80's infused world by combining ethereal vocals with a pulsating, synth infused melody that delves into a dark disco sound.
Alongside the "Black Walls" single, the Portland four piece have announced details of their fifth studio album. Dear Tommy is set to arrive in autumn 2018 after being repeatedly delayed. It was originally announced in 2014.
Self directed "Black Walls" is the first single to be taken from Dear Tommy in close to two years. All the previous material from the album has been removed.
After having to re-record Dear Tommy due to Chromatics' Johnny Jewel having a near death experience, the Portland band are finally pursuing the album.
