Chlöe shares debut solo single "Have Mercy"
Chlöe Bailey, best known as one half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle, has shared her debut solo single "Have Mercy" today (10 September).
The new track, accompanied by a Karena Evans-directed video, is the first taste of Bailey's forthcoming debut solo album, which she said last month is "90% done".
Last month she also said she started working on the album in "2019, a month or two before the pandemic hit", but hit the pause button "so my sister and I could promote Ungodly Hour". She continued, "But in between I was in my bedroom creating at night. I’d be making my own beats and working on songs and ideas for this project that I knew would come, I just didn’t know when."
