Chip returns to the petrol station for new Stormzy diss track "Flowers"
Chip has released fiery new diss track "Flowers", which sees him take aim at Stormzy after the rapper pulled up at Chip's house uninvited.
Last night (7 October), Chip surprised fans by returning to the petrol station (remember his Bugzy Malone diss "Dickhead"?), a menacing indication that the rapper was about to drop a diss track.
He released new track "Killer MC", but also doubled it up with his Stormzy diss "Flowers" shortly after.
"Flowers" sees Chip reference an earlier incident which saw Stormzy turn up at Chip's house unexpectedly with his crew, "Stupid boy you're Stormzy you shouldn't be pulling up at no doors."
The diss track also sees Chip reference his Young Adz and Skepta track "Waze". In "Waxe", Chip rapped, "Round here we don't hear you're a king / man will take your throne (Yeah) / Piss on your forehead / know your role." In "Flowers", Chip raps, "Me I thought she broke your heart / I ain't know it was "Waze" g."
Stormzy first responded to Chip's "Waze" verse in his Tion Wayne and Dutchavelli collaboration "I Dunno", where he said, "Is he sending for me, I dunno / what them boy there sell first week I dunno / When they ask for the fee let 'em know / that it's 1.5 for the headline show / Little n***a that's millis not thousands / Stormzy the goat but they really been doubtin'."
