Chilly Gonzales announces new album Chambers, shares trailer
Chilly Gonzales has confirmed that he's soon to release a follow-up to his last lone endeavour Solo Piano II. It's called Chambers and it'll drop 23 March.
The press release gives a brief rundown of Gonzalez's accolades and achievements: "Chilly Gonzales holds the Guinness world record for the longest solo concert at over 27 hours. He performs and writes songs with Jarvis Cocker, Feist and Drake, among others. In 2014 he won a Grammy for his collaboration on Daft Punk’s Best Album of the Year. With "Never Stop", Chilly Gonzales composed a global hit for the inaugural Apple iPad campaign."
Aside from all that, he's also a pretty astounding - and ambitious - solo artist, and with Chambers, he's set to make that abundantly clear once more. He's dedicated each track to a different entity as well: Rick Ross, Juicy J, Henry VIII, Bach, Daft Punk and John McEnroe get nods, as do 'the subconscious', pianos, and musicians in general.
