Chiiild and Mahalia team up on lustful new song "Awake"
Montreal's Chiiild has joined forces with Mahalia on new track "Awake", which lands as a second preview of his debut album Hope For Sale.
After announcing Hope For Sale with lead cut "Sleepwalking" last month, Chiiild, real name Yonatan ‘Yoni’ Aya has returned with the album's second single "Awake", which sees him team up with Mahalia.
The new song marks Mahalia's first collaboration since connecting with Rico Nasty on "Jealous" back in February. She says of the track, "I love Chiiild and I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this beautiful song. Hope you all love "Awake" as much as I do."
As well as collaborating with Mahalia this year, Chiiild featured on Emotional Oranges' "Bonafide" single in January.
He's yet to share details for his forthcoming album Hope For Sale, which will follow last year's Synthetic Soul EP.
