Last year, rapper Chief Keef failed to turn up for his scheduled London show at IndigO2. Now, today he’s been slapped with a rather hefty fine.
The young hip-hop star, who recently featured on Kanye West’s album Yeezus, didn’t make the planned appearance on 29 December 2012, never giving a reason for the no-show neither did he ever reply to the lawsuit from Washington DC-based promoters Team Major.
It was left to a judge to determine how much Chief Keef should pay, according to TMZ, the cost of damages eventually being deemed as $230,019.
