Chief Keef arrested in Chicago minutes after pleading guilty to separate charge
Illinois rapper Keith Cozart, aka Chief Keef, has been arrested for trespassing merely minutes after leaving a court house in Chicago where he pleaded guilty to a separate charge for speeding on the Edens Freeway.
Cozart was earlier caught doing a staggering 110mph in an area with a 55mph limit. As if that wasn’t enough, the state police also charged him for having a few too many passengers in his vehicle. Reason being, he has a learner’s permit, allowing him to only ride with one passenger. Cozart’s plea deal mixes up a juicy cocktail of punishment including an 18-month probation, 60 hours of community service and a fine of $531. To add insult to injury, he also has to attend at least eight hours of traffic school.
This isn’t the first time the hip-hop star has had a run-in with the law. A few short months ago, he was charged with possession of marijuana and a few years before, he pulled a gun on a police officer which he is still on probation for.
In music-related news, he is featured on Kanye West’s new album, Yeezus.
