Waxahatchee covers "Greenville" by Lucinda Williams, cancels European tour
A video has emerged of Waxahatchee covering "Greenville" by Lucinda Williams.
The track features on Williams' '98 album Car Wheels On A Gravel Road (as does "I Lost It", which Waxahatchee has also been covering live), and features Emmylou Harris.
Waxahatchee's currently on tour promoting latest LP Ivy Tripp, and this video sees her performance of the track while she was performing at Spark in Syracuse, NY.
The singer/songwriter has also cancelled her forthcoming support dates with Kurt Vile, saying: "I’m very disappointed to announce that I will be unable to perform at the shows I have scheduled in Europe coming up. I’ve been having some health issues that are affecting my voice and have been put on strict and immediate vocal rest. I hate cancelling shows and I’m hoping to make it up to everyone soon.”
Lushes have been confirmed as Vile's new support.
Ivy Tripp is out now via Wichita.
