Charlotte Jane shares "empowering" new track "Get it Right"
Charlotte Jane has returned with her first new single of the year - the "empowering" "Get it Right".
"Get it Right" is Jane's first release since performing a cover of Childish Gambino's "Redbone" as part of a Mahogany Session in July, but marks her first new original song since last year's "All My Life".
Jane says of her new single, ""Get it Right" is the anthem for the lightbulb moment when you realise your own self-worth and stop letting people string you along. It sounds sad but it’s actually empowering."
Songwriters Dayyon Alexander (Ella Mai, Demi Lovato) and Jeff Shum (John Legend, Camila Cabello) helped Jane on the track, which was recorded during the first lockdown earlier this year.
Jane is yet to follow up her 2019 debut EP Nowhere To Hide.
