Charlotte Church joins theatre group Gaggle for London stage debut
Charlotte Church is set to make her London stage debut this weekend as part of "critically-acclaimed all-female ensemble" Gaggle.
Church is part of the cast for Lysistrata, a rework of the Greek comedy by Aristophanes which is taking place as part of the theatre's Greek festival. The new version is described as "a timely retelling... about a gang of vigilante women, set against the backdrop of post-election despair in the UK."
Lysistrata is written and directed by Deborah Coughlin, and takes place 7 and 8 August at the Almeida Theatre. Tickets are available now.
Church's latest musical releases are the ONE, TWO, THREE, and FOUR EPs.
