Charli XCX says new album will "make people dance and cry at the same time"
Charli XCX has spoken about her new album out next year, revealing that it'll "make people dance and cry at the same time".
Last month Charli XCX returned with her latest banger "Good Ones", and in a new interview with InStyle, Charli XCX has spoken about her follow-up to last year's quarantine album how i'm feeling now.
According to the piece, the new record is due to land next year, and is influenced by the '80s. Charli XCX said of it, "It's kind of all about sex and sexuality. It can make people dance and cry at the same time. It's a vibe."
In August Charli XCX spoke about her new music, saying, "New music is coming, it’s very good, it is very pop. It feels like Charli ultra popstar, all-out, sell your soul, kind of version of myself. I feel like I have unlocked this kind of ultimate top-tier level of myself and it is fun to get to know her a bit as well."
Last week a longer snippet of Charli XCX's "SWEAT" song soundtracked the new Pandora ME campaign.
