Charli XCX appears to tease Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens collab with new snippet
Charli XCX has treated fans to 27-second clip of a new song, and fans reckon it could be the highly-anticipated Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens collaboration.
After sharing what appeared to be a list of collaborators for her follow-up to last year's quarantine album how i'm feeling now on socials yesterday (1 November), Charli XCX has shared another teaser, this time of a new song.
The 27-second clip previews a synth banger, and towards the end some vocals can be heard that aren't Charli XCX's, leading fans to think it could be the Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens collaboration that was first teased in September.
Charli XCX captioned the snippet, "a delicious new shape", and in September she posted an image of the three artists on the set of what looked like a music video with the words: "a perfect shape".
One Twitter user responded to Charli XCX's clip with a screenshot of what looks like the song registration page. It lists the track title as "New Shapes", and the release date is listed as 4 November.
