Chairlift to unleash new single "Ch-Ching" this week
Brooklyn synthpop twosome Chairlift are back. Almost. They're set to release a new single on Wednesday.
It's called "Ch-Ching" (or "ChChing"), and it's the first taste of the band's third record.
Chairlift have been slowly-but-surely teasing the release via social media, with new pics and clips peppering feeds over the past week. Writing on Facebook today, they let the cat fully out of the bag, writing: "After 2 years of working on our album, we’re so excited for new music coming Wednesday... #ChChing"
You can check out the lyrics to the new single already. Someone filmed the pair perform the tune way back in 2013, which you can peek at on YouTube.
Any new release from Chairlift will follow 2012's Something.
Check out a teaser for (presumably) the new single below.
