Chairlift hit the jackpot on dazzling return "Ch-Ching"
Chairlift have returned proper with new single "Ch-Ching", a sparkling, jerky pop tune that grabs you by the scruff of your ears.
The duo premiered the cut on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, also speaking about the creation of the new material and their new studio CRC (Colleague Resource Centre), an abandoned phamaceutical building. One half of the pair, Caroline Polachek, says of the single: “This record was very much about the experience of living in New York. ‘Ch-Ching’ is sort of about that feeling of getting lucky and not really realizing what just hit you, but rolling with it.”
Any new release from Chairlift will follow 2012's Something.
