Chairlift have confirmed that they're calling it a day after a run of final live dates in spring 2017.
The duo's Patrick Wimberly will be entering production full time while Caroline Polachek will be pursuing a solo career. A statement says: "the two of us are family at this point and [we] will undoubtedly turn up in each other's work in the future."
Chairlift's debut album Does You Inspire You was released in 2008, and their final release - the excellent Moth - came earlier this year.
