Cathy Jain announces second EP with new single "gaslight"
Cathy Jain has shared news of her second EP spacegirl, and has released new single "gaslight" to accompany the announcement.
"gaslight" is Jain's first outing since April's "UFO", which will also feature on her forthcoming EP that will follow last year's Artificial EP.
"It’s a fun song with a bit of a satirical edge," Jain explains. "It’s about crushing on someone and then acting extremely weird in the whole situation, although in the song it’s unclear who the one with the crush is (that’s for the listener to decide!). I wanted to write about a crush in a way that’s confused, disorientated but fun - because that’s usually how it seems to go."
spacegirl will feature four songs in total, and was written and recorded during her A-Level studies.
