Cat Power shares Lana Del Rey collaboration "Woman"
Cat Power has revealed Lana Del Rey collaboration "Woman", the first single from her upcoming album Wanderer.
Chan Marshall, aka Cat Power, returned from her six-year hiatus with news of her new album Wanderer, which arrived with a short trailer.
Now Cat Power has shared the first full track from the upcoming album, and it's a collaboration with tour pal Lana Del Rey.
"Woman" sees the duo duet on the chorus with their breezy, yet soulful vocals.
Speaking about her new album, Marshall explained, "The course my life has taken in this journey - going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them.”
Wanderer will be her first album since 2012's Sun.
