Cashmere Cat announces new album with first single "EMOTIONS" landing on Friday
Norway's Cashmere Cat has announced a new album PRINCESS CATGIRL, with the first single "EMOTIONS" due to drop on Friday (9 August).
PRINCESS CATGIRL will be Cashmere Cat's first album since 2017's 9, which featured collaborations with MØ, SOPHIE, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, and many more.
"EMOTIONS" will be the first single from Cashmere Cat, aka Magnus August Høiberg, since last year's "Miss You" with Major Lazer and Tory Lanez.
Announcing the new album on Instagram, Høiberg wrote, "i’ve made a new album! it’s called PRINCESS CATGIRL. this is a picture of me and her. she’s very cute and powerful. i’ve always been shy - since the beginning of being an artist i would hide my face, not want to do interviews, hide behind other artists.. i guess you could say i was scared.. so i created princess catgirl to be the face of my music. she makes me feel safe. our first song "EMOTIONS" out august 9."
