Carly Rae Jepsen shares celebratory track "Party For One"
Carly Rae Jepsen has broken her silence with the infectious new single "Party For One".
It's been three years since Carly Rae Jepsen released her E•MO•TION record and its accompanying EP E•MO•TION: Side B.
Today she shares new single "Party For One", which is her first since last year's “Cut to the Feeling”, and collaborations with Bleachers, BC Unidos, and Charli XCX.
"Party For One" arrives with a self-celebrating video directed by Bardia Zeinali.
Commenting on the new single, Jepsen explains, “To me "Party For One" is an anthem of what it is to celebrate time with yourself, which is a hard thing for people to really enjoy sometimes, and it’s something I’m learning to do more and more. This song represents a lot of what this album is about for me which is romantic love but self-love too."
Alongside the Captain Cuts and HIGHTOWER-produced track, Jepsen has also confirmed a new album will be arriving in early 2019.
"Party For One" was co-written with "Call Me Maybe" writer Tavish Crowe, as well as Anton Rundberg and Julia Karlsson.
