Carly Rae Jepsen returns with Rostam-produced new single "Western Wind"
Carly Rae Jepsen has released her first new music of the year, "Western Wind", which is produced and co-written with Rostam Batmanglij.
"Western Wind" is Jepsen's first new material since her 2020 Christmas single "It's Not Christmas Till Somebody Cries", and her appearance on mxmtoon's "ok on your own" in September 2020, and is accompanied by a Taylor Fauntleroy-directed video.
The new song was co-written by Jepsen and Rostam Batmanglij, who also produced the track.
"Western Wind" was first teased via a billboard spotted by fans last month, and she also gave the song its live debut at Coachella 2022.
Jepsen is yet to follow up her 2019 album Dedicated, and 2020's Dedicated Side B.
