Caribou releases live album featuring Four Tet, James Holden, Sinkane and more
Last week Caribou's Dan Snaith dropped a 1000-song mixtape, and continuing that generous streak, he's unleashed a new live album and film into the ether.
It's called CVE Live 2011, and aims to raise money for Gendered Intelligence, a charity that aims to engage people in debates about gender through creative arts. The profits are given in memory of friend and sound engineer Julia Brightly who worked with Snaith/Caribou for over a decade (a track on Our Love is named after her) and passed away in 2014.
All profits from this release go to @GIyouthgroup in memory of our dear friend Julia Brightly

The album is performed by The Caribou Vibration Ensemble, an 11-piece band featuring Caribou, Four Tet, James Holden, Sinkane and more.
There is also a live film of a show from ATP Minehead, featuring Marshall Allen, Sun Ra Arkestra's bandleader.
Stream/buy the record below. There are also very limited editions of the album on physical formats, details of which can be found via Snaith's Twitter account as they arrive.
