Cardi B will star in new movie with Jennifer Lopez

Cardi B has joined Jennifer Lopez and others for her first feature film role in Hustlers.

According to Deadline, Hustlers, which is written and directed by Lorene Scafaria (Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, The Meddler), will see Cardi B's first feature film role, where she'll star alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), Keke Palmer (Scream Queens), Julia Stiles (Silver Linings Playbook), and more.

The IMDB page for the film, which starts production 22 March, states, "Inspired by the viral New York Magazine article, Hustlers follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients."

Jennifer Lopez teamed up with Cardi B and DJ Khaled for last year's "Dinero" single.

Director/writer Scafaria said of the upcoming film, "I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with this dynamic group of women. We’re grateful to have assembled such a powerhouse cast and can’t wait to start filming at the end of the week."
